Terms of use

The service

This is time tracking for an organisation. It holds the workers, the contractors, the projects, and the hours. The organisation that opens the account is responsible for the people it invites and the records it keeps.

Accounts

You need an account to sign in. Keep the password to yourself. An invite code joins the organisation the code was written for, and only when the email matches the invite. Opening an account without a code starts a new organisation. A contractor can be recorded with no account.

The plan

A new organisation has 14 days, with no card. After that, the plan is $49 a month. One bill for the team. Workers and contractors are not billed. There is no seat limit. People who join with an invite are not charged their own plan.

Payment, when it is turned on, is handled by Stripe. Card numbers are not stored here. The plan stays active while the subscription is paid. If the trial ends and the organisation has not subscribed, billing waits until it does.

Your records

Hours, projects, rates, and goals belong to the organisation that holds them. A worker sees their own hours. Each organisation sees only its own records.

Use of Alae.io

Use Alae.io for real work records. Do not use it to break into another Alae.io, to send invites to people you have no reason to contact, or to store anything you do not have a right to keep.

Marks

Alae.io, the winged clock, the icons, and the wordmark belong to Parasite LLC. You may not copy those marks, register a confusing name, or use the icons outside the product.

Availability

Alae.io is the tool as it runs. Time entries you save stay in Alae.io, and the service can be interrupted for a fix or an outage. Keep your own copy when a record matters outside Alae.io. Export is there for that.

Closing Alae.io

The organisation can stop inviting people and can remove records it no longer wants. Cancelling a paid plan is done through billing once Stripe is connected. These terms can change as the product changes. The date at the top is the latest version.

Law

These terms apply to users anywhere. They are governed by the law of the State of Wyoming and applicable United States federal law.
